STERLING — The Sterling Board of Health unanimously hires Karla Coffey as the Health Agent. Chair Richard Lane, Vice-Chair Gary C Menin Sr, and Member Toni Torres Laffond voted unanimously to hire Coffey at a Grade 6, Step 5 starting salary, with a tentative start date of mid-September 2026. Her salary will increase once she completes her Title 5 certification.
In other business, the board waived the health permit fee for the Eight Point Sportsmen's Club's one-day charity event featuring a licensed tattoo artist.
