STERLING — Board of Assessors approves budget and performance review. Chairman Donlin Murray, Clerk Richard Sheppard, and Associate Assessor Robert Heckman unanimously backed the fiscal year budget and reaffirmed the annual performance review, which the board characterized as substantially unchanged from the prior year. The board is processing approximately five property abatement applications currently awaiting applicant submissions.
The town assessor's website has been updated with new property values, sales comparisons, and related materials for public access.
