Board of Health approves amended prior minutes; discusses legal expenses and phone policy.

Board of Health · Meeting of March 12, 2026

Sterling Board of Health approves amended February minutes and addresses legal expense shortfall. Health Agent David Favreau reported cumulative Board of Health legal costs of $1,475.00, which are unbudgeted and may require a reserve fund transfer before fiscal year end. The Board approved a ZBA comment on a proposed porch at 2 Sunset Drive, finding no septic system concerns, and postponed rodenticide policy to April.

Favreau noted two measles cases reported statewide, a rabies clinic scheduled March 28 at Sterling VCA, seven construction permits issued, and ongoing Montachusett Public Health Network coordination on form unification.
