Sterling Board of Health approves Local Upgrade Approval and noise enforcement action. The board voted unanimously to grant an alternative septic system design request at 59 Redstone Hill Road and authorized Chairman Richard Lane to demand noise code compliance from 78 Worcester Road, with escalation to a public hearing if violations persist. In other business, members unanimously approved a draft letter to state legislators on rodenticide use and reorganized with Lane as Chair, Gary C Menin Sr as Vice Chair, and newly elected member Toni Torres Laffond as Member/Secretary.

The Health Agent issued eight Certificates of Compliance, eight Construction Permits, and five Food Permits in the prior month.
