Sterling Board of Health approves septic upgrades and one-year construction permit extension. Engineer Jack Maloney presented a local upgrade approval for 52 Maple Street allowing a three-foot groundwater separation and Sieve Analysis in lieu of percolation testing; the Board voted unanimously. Homeowner Joe Rameau's request to extend Permit #2023-09 at 37 Tuttle Road from March 8, 2026, to March 8, 2027, also passed unanimously.

Health Agent David Favreau reported ongoing Title 5 inspections, farm labor camp inspections, and DEP well-report reviews; Chairman Richard Lane said an attorney has been assigned to conduct an audit review.
