Board of Health moves to post Health Agent position

Sterling Board of Health unanimously authorizes Health Agent job posting with flexible scheduling plan. Chairman Richard Lane proposed a 24-hour work week position with set office hours and benefits, noting that the Massachusetts Public Health Network can train an agent through an available grant. The job posting will be submitted to the Town Administrator and interviews will be held in an open board meeting.

The board also thanked departing member Gail Hassett for her service.
