Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 24, 2026

Sterling Conservation Commission approves stormwater permit for South Nelson Road project. Chair Matthew Marro oversaw unanimous approval of the permit for 64 South Nelson Road work by applicant Tyler Favreau, with conditions including 72-hour notice for trench inspection by commissioners and Conservation Agent Sierra Harris near an isolated wetland. The commission also approved a Standard Order of Conditions for a septic system replacement at 52 Maple Street, contingent on Department of Public Works right-of-way permit approval, and continued three additional applications to the March 24 meeting: a single-family house Notice of Intent by Christopher McNamara at Maple Street Lot 4, Robert Julius at Maple Street Lot 7, and a retroactive culvert replacement by Eco Tec on Campground Road.
