STERLING — Council on Aging approves March minutes, treasurer reports. The Sterling board unanimously approved the March 19, 2026 meeting minutes with one abstention, then voted unanimously to approve treasurer's reports for March and April. Director Sheila Beane reported on Senior Center activities and the council unanimously accepted her director's report.
The board is recruiting two new members, preferring younger candidates willing to attend meetings and interview. The council scheduled its Car Show for August 13 with an August 20 rain date and tabled Peter MacDonald's long-term planning framework to its June 11 meeting.
