DPW Facility Committee approves April 1 minutes; outreach plan set.

STERLING — The Sterling DPW Facility Committee voted 3-0 to approve April 1 minutes and finalized a public engagement schedule for a proposed new facility. Chair Jonathan Morini's panel will host an open house Saturday, 9 AM to noon, and two Senior Center sessions on April 29 at 6:30 PM and May 30 at 9 AM. A 29-minute presentation under development will address diesel and gasoline usage by department, highlight available grants and earmarks, and present a roadmap of outcomes contingent on voter approval.
Committee members also directed presenters to allow time for audience questions during the presentation and to address "sticker price shock." The next meeting is May 14 at 6:00 PM.
