Sterling Finance Committee appoints successors to retiring members. The Finance and Capital Budget committees unanimously reappointed Ezequiel Ayala to the Finance Committee and John Kilcoyne as Finance Committee Vice Chair during a joint meeting Thursday. Mike Padula was also unanimously appointed to the DPW Building Committee, pending June 24 Select Board ratification.
The appointments address openings created by the retirements of Mark Gauthier and Lynne Sheppard, which leave four total vacancies across the committees. The Finance Committee also unanimously authorized Chair Joseph King and Vice Chair Kilcoyne to approve year-end departmental transfers and reserve fund disbursements.
