Sterling Open Space Implementation Committee approves $350 in funding for Gaylord Trail boardwalk. Paul Lekberg requested the funding for materials and Chuck Plaisted moved for approval, seconded by Peder Pedersen; the committee unanimously approved. The committee also discussed options for completing an updated Open Space and Recreation Plan after a grant application was denied, including reapplying in September, hiring a consultant, or completing a shorter version independently.

A completed OSRP would entitle Sterling to up to $400,000 in grant opportunities.
