Sterling Select Board approves $1.3M bond anticipation note for infrastructure. Town Administrator Bill Caldwell presented the short-term borrowing at 2.4 percent interest, allocating $800,000 to Swett Hill Drainage and $500,000 to a DPW project. The board unanimously approved the Town Meeting and Election Warrant for May 4 and May 11 votes at Houghton School.
William Frankian was unanimously appointed to the Conservation Commission for a three-year term. The board also granted a one-day sidewalk use permit to The Brick Mexican Grille for outdoor seating expansion on May 5, contingent on a temporary Liquor License amendment and Liquor Liability coverage.
